Our Dairy Farm Nov. 26, 1989 to Oct. 1, 2008
We milked cows on our dairy farm for 19 years.
Ford 7710 and our Patz mixer parked by the bred heifer barn, feed bins were along side of barn and used for grain in feed ration
We had an 800 and 1000 gallon bulk tanks.  The milkman came to pick up our milk at 1pm every day.
Here is one of the last milkings in our double 8 parallel swing parlor.  Juan is shown milking the cows.  This parlor milks the cows through their back legs
Here is one of our cows in the post fresh group.  After the cows have their calves they are put into this group until they are about 21 days fresh and eating well.
Here are our Muskovy Ducks in their pool.  They clean themselves daily.  What duck doesn't like water?
Aunt Susie feeding the chickens outside their chicken house.  In the summer we let our chickens run free.  We have Light Brahmas, Production Blacks, Barred Cochens, and Blue Anadalusions.  My daughter loves her chickens.
Oct 1st 2008 at about 10pm.  We finished hauling our cattle to "Wakker's Dairy Farm."  The first time this barn has been empty since it was built.  This is our 132 stall freestall barn.
Our parlor will never milk another cow in this milking barn.  We have sold it in our auction.  This was it the  night we sold our cows and it was so very quiet.
